Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Product Management to join our team. This role is crucial for driving the development and execution of AI-powered products and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex technical projects from conception to launch, with a deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in product development. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI-driven product roadmaps and technical programs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, product management, and design, to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Manage all aspects of the program lifecycle, including risk assessment, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and budget management.
- Translate business needs and user requirements into detailed technical specifications and project plans.
- Oversee the development and implementation of AI/ML models and solutions, ensuring alignment with product strategy and business objectives.
- Facilitate technical discussions, identify dependencies, and proactively resolve roadblocks to ensure timely project completion.
- Communicate project status, key milestones, and potential risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Champion best practices in program management, agile methodologies, and AI development.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and product management trends.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field. MBA from UCLA is a plus.
- 12+ years of experience in program management, product management, or a related technical role.
- Proven experience managing complex technical programs, particularly in the AI/ML domain.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and their practical applications.
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
