About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Business Analyst to join our team for a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Agile methodologies and a proven track record of gathering requirements for complex enterprise projects. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into actionable technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements elicitation and documentation efforts for various projects.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to define project scope and objectives.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Develop and manage user stories, epics, and product backlogs.
- Create detailed functional and non-functional requirements documentation.
- Analyze legacy systems and document their functionalities.
- Provide support to QA testing teams to ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Utilize wireframing tools like Figma to create visual representations of user interfaces.
- Develop comprehensive user guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Ensure clear and effective communication between business and technical teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in Business Analysis, including requirements elicitation and documentation.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong experience with User Stories and Backlog Management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in documenting complex projects.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with government modernization projects.
- Proficiency in legacy system analysis and documentation.
- Experience supporting QA testing efforts.
- Familiarity with wireframing tools such as Figma.
- Experience in creating user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Business Analysis or a related field.
- Must hold a PMI-PBA or CBAP certification.
Employment Type:
This position is available for C2C, W2, and 1099 employment types.
