Project Context: The Agentforce Transformation
Join a cutting-edge initiative in downtown Chicago as a Salesforce Lead Developer. Our client is undergoing a major digital transformation, replacing their legacy email case tool, Kana, with Salesforce Agentforce. This project is at the forefront of AI-driven customer service, utilizing Service Cloud and the specific Agentforce SKU to revolutionize how the organization interacts with its global customer base. As a Lead Developer, you will be instrumental in the initial implementation and subsequent phases, which include integration into mobile apps and the implementation of advanced AI capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and implementation of Service Cloud and Agentforce solutions, ensuring they meet global contact center requirements.
- Build and support the deployment of autonomous agents using Agentforce to automate customer service interactions and internal workflows.
- Develop high-quality, scalable code using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Advanced Flows.
- Configure Einstein Copilot and Prompt Builder to enhance the AI capabilities of the Salesforce platform.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews for offshore and onshore developers to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and Project Managers to translate complex business requirements into technical reality.
- Manage Omni-Channel routing, Case Management, and Knowledge Management features within the Service Console.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to Service Cloud.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security protocols.
- Proven experience with Agentforce configuration and building autonomous agents is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CTI integration and Omni-Channel modeling.
- Salesforce Service Cloud certification and Agentforce Agentblazer Legend status are significant advantages.
- Experience leading development teams and working with offshore resources is essential.
Work Environment and Location
This position is based in downtown Chicago and follows a hybrid model, requiring onsite presence two days per week. We are specifically looking for local or nearby candidates who can commit to this schedule through the end of the year. The role offers a unique opportunity to work with the latest Salesforce AI technologies in a high-impact environment. You will be part of a team that values technical excellence, security compliance, and scalable design, contributing to a project that will define the future of the company’s customer engagement strategy. The project duration is set through the end of the year with potential for extension.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
