Position Summary: Product Owner (Authentication & Identity)
Join our cutting-edge Authentication Technology team in Seattle as a Product Owner. This role is designed for a proactive leader who can bridge the gap between complex security requirements and seamless user experiences. You will be the primary driver of product value, managing a sophisticated roadmap that addresses the evolving threats of 2026.
Core Responsibilities
- Vision and Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear product vision for authentication solutions, including MFA, SSO, and OAuth protocols, ensuring alignment with broader business and security objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, security architects, and engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
- Backlog Management: Own the product backlog in JIRA, prioritizing user stories based on risk mitigation, business value, and strategic impact.
- Agile Leadership: Lead sprint planning, refinement sessions, and retrospectives. You will be the final authority on whether completed work meets the rigorous acceptance criteria for security and usability.
- Security Standards: Ensure all delivered increments meet global compliance expectations and identity validation standards, particularly within regulated industries like financial services.
Technical Environment and Expectations
The successful candidate will operate within a high-velocity DevOps environment, where continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) are standard. You must possess a deep technical understanding of modern identity management frameworks and how they integrate into a Zero Trust architecture. Beyond technical skills, this role requires exceptional analytical abilities to balance the friction of security with the necessity of a smooth user journey. As a Product Owner in Seattle’s competitive tech hub, you will be expected to stay ahead of industry trends, such as passwordless authentication and biometric verification. Your ability to manage complex dependencies across cross-functional teams will be critical to the success of our identity platform. Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year (Estimated)
