Project Overview
RED Global is seeking an experienced and independent SAP CO Public Consultant for a long-term engagement in Denver, NC. This is a critical role within an SAP Brownfield Public Cloud Project, focusing on providing immediate value through deep knowledge of S4 best practices, configurations, and accounting principles. The project is initially onsite in Denver, NC, with a transition to a hybrid model thereafter. The initial contract duration is 9 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
Core Responsibilities
- System Navigation & Configuration: Navigate S4/HANA environments with ease and provide expert-level configuration for SAP CO modules. You will be responsible for mapping complex accounting principles into the SAP framework.
- Brownfield Migration Support: Support the project team through the nuances of a Brownfield Public Cloud migration. This includes identifying and correcting mistakes in the current ongoing project through hands-on adjustments.
- User Training & Hyper-care: A primary focus of this role is on user training and providing hyper-care support post-implementation. You will ensure that end-users are fully equipped to utilize the new system effectively.
- Departmental Coordination: Maintain regular coordination with various business departments to ensure that the SAP solution aligns with operational requirements and manufacturing best practices.
- Best Practice Implementation: Advise the organization on S4 best practices, ensuring that the system is optimized for efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and controlling.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP CO, specifically within a Public Cloud environment.
- Proven experience working within the manufacturing sector, understanding the specific financial and controlling challenges of this industry.
- Strong knowledge of S4/HANA best practices, configurations, and mapping.
- Ability to work independently and provide immediate value to a high-stakes project.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management and user training.
Preferred Skills
- At least one full end-to-end project lifecycle experience in a Brownfield Public Cloud environment.
- Experience with S4/HANA migration tools and methodologies.
- Advanced understanding of integrated financial processes within a manufacturing context.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
