Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Front End Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Sunnyvale, California. This role is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week onsite at our Sunnyvale facility. As a Front End Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining user-friendly, responsive, and high-performance web applications. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to build scalable solutions that provide a seamless user experience for our global client base, specifically supporting projects within the TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop sophisticated front-end components using modern frameworks such as React, ensuring code is modular, reusable, and maintainable.
- Implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that are fully responsive and accessible across all devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with design teams to translate high-fidelity mockups and prototypes into functional, pixel-perfect code.
- Build and consume complex RESTful and GraphQL APIs to ensure efficient data flow between the front-end and back-end systems.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices and internal coding standards.
- Optimize front-end performance for maximum speed and scalability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the rendering pipeline.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, tools, and industry trends to keep our tech stack modern and efficient.
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, utilizing containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues and bugs in a timely manner to maintain high application availability.
- Ensure strict adherence to security best practices, including Content Security Policy (CSP), XSS prevention, and CSRF handling to protect user data.
Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in front-end development with a strong focus on modern JavaScript ecosystems.
- Expert-level proficiency in React, HTML5, CSS3, ES6+, and TypeScript.
- Strong UI/UX design experience with a keen eye for detail and a focus on user-centric design principles.
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or the Context API.
- Experience with modern build tools and bundlers, including Webpack, Parcel, and Babel.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, and React Testing Library to ensure application reliability.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and web accessibility (WCAG) standards.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git, in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly desirable.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $165,000 per year
