Role Overview
Intellect Business Solutions LLC is seeking a highly seasoned Sr. UI React Developer for a long-term engagement with a direct client located in Santa Clara, CA, or Lewisville, TX. This position is tailored for a technical expert with over 12 years of professional IT experience who specializes in building robust, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in the React ecosystem, capable of driving frontend architecture and delivering seamless user experiences without the use of Angular frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop sophisticated web applications using React 16+ and advanced state management libraries such as Redux or Mobx.
- Lead the design and implementation of reusable UI components using TypeScript, ES6+, and modern CSS methodologies including CSS3, preprocessors (SASS/LESS), and Grid layouts.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and backend engineers, to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring optimal performance and data consistency.
- Maintain a high standard of code quality through comprehensive unit testing using Jest and other testing frameworks.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability across a wide range of browsers and devices.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the UI team.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in frontend development and advocate for the adoption of best practices and modern tools.
Technical Requirements
- A minimum of 12 years of overall IT experience, with a significant focus on frontend development.
- Expert-level proficiency in React.js (version 16 and above) and its core principles.
- Deep understanding of state management patterns and libraries like Redux or Mobx.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Advanced knowledge of CSS3, CSS Preprocessors, and responsive design principles (Flexbox, Grid).
- Proven experience in implementing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of testing frameworks, specifically Jest.
- Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn).

This is a long-term contract role that requires candidates to be local to either Santa Clara, CA, or Lewisville, TX. We are specifically looking for candidates who can demonstrate a deep commitment to UI excellence. Please note that we do not work with C2C profiles for this requirement. Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
