Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned ServiceNow Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role requires a deep technical understanding of the ServiceNow platform and the ability to develop custom applications that meet complex business requirements. With at least 9 years of overall industry experience and a minimum of 6 years dedicated to ServiceNow, you will be a key contributor to our platform’s evolution. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing solutions that leverage the full power of the NOW platform, including integrations via REST APIs and custom application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the ServiceNow platform to support business processes.
- Implement and manage complex integrations using REST APIs and other web services.
- Write clean, optimal, and maintainable code using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform upgrades and new features to ensure optimal platform performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform hands-on coding and configuration to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Utilize analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 9 years of overall IT experience, with at least 6 years specifically in ServiceNow development. You must have at least 3 years of experience with the NOW platform development and 2 years of experience with REST API integrations. Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow-specific scripting is essential. We are looking for a hands-on developer who is comfortable writing code and building custom applications from the ground up. Excellent analytical and communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with remote teams and stakeholders. Experience with ServiceNow Portal, UI Builder, and Performance Analytics is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
