Role Overview
The Customer Engagement Manager for Cloud Migration & Portfolio Management is a strategic mid-leadership role designed for a seasoned professional capable of orchestrating enterprise-level cloud initiatives. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-stakes migration projects across strategic customer accounts, ensuring that technical execution is perfectly aligned with business transformation objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through the complexities of cloud adoption while maintaining a focus on ROI, scalability, and long-term digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple large-scale cloud migration projects simultaneously, overseeing the entire lifecycle from assessment to post-migration optimization.
- Develop and maintain portfolio-level roadmaps that provide a clear vision for enterprise cloud adoption and modernization.
- Provide consultative guidance to Fortune 1000 clients on Cloud Adoption Frameworks (CAF) and Well-Architected Frameworks (WAF).
- Collaborate with technical architects to bridge the gap between complex infrastructure requirements and business-centric outcomes.
- Implement standardized migration processes, templates, and governance models to ensure consistency across the entire project portfolio.
- Develop comprehensive business cases and ROI models to justify cloud investments and track the financial impact of migration efforts.
- Identify and mitigate risks at both the project and portfolio levels, anticipating dependencies and critical path challenges.
- Lead cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 14-16 years of total IT experience, with at least 7 years specifically in Program Management.
- Extensive background in IT Infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale cloud migration and modernization projects (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep familiarity with FinOps principles, cloud economics, and application portfolio rationalization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use quantitative methods to assess migration complexity.
- Certifications: PgMP and/or PMP are required. AWS or Azure Solutions Architect certifications are highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $230,000 per year (Estimated)
