Role Overview
Quantum World Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented TOSCA Automation Engineer for a long-term contract position. This role is 100% remote and is designed for a professional who excels in model-based test automation and quality engineering. As we move into 2026, the complexity of integrated software ecosystems requires a Quality Engineer who can not only execute tests but also design strategic automation frameworks that ensure high-speed delivery without compromising on quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting a wide range of software quality tests, analyzing results, and ensuring that all application products meet rigorous organizational standards and end-user requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Tricentis TOSCA for model-based test automation.
- Perform comprehensive API testing using Postman to validate backend services and data integrity.
- Utilize SQL for complex data validation, backend testing, and ensuring database consistency across environments.
- Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter to identify system bottlenecks and ensure scalability.
- Lead complex testing projects with multiple dependencies, focusing on Integration and End-to-End (E2E) testing scenarios.
- Collaborate with business partners to implement risk-based testing strategies that improve speed to delivery.
- Manage test data and environments within a modern CI/CD pipeline to support continuous deployment.
- Act as an experienced Test Lead to assist and mentor App Suite Quality Engineers (QEs).
- Document test plans, test cases, and execution results in Jira, ensuring full traceability of requirements.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of the TOSCA automation framework and its application in enterprise environments. Proficiency in Postman for API validation and SQL for data-driven testing is essential. Experience with JMeter for performance metrics is highly preferred. Beyond technical skills, this role requires a professional with strong analytical capabilities who can perform quality planning, design, and execution with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as you will be leading cross-functional projects and communicating risks to stakeholders. You should have a proven track record of working in Agile environments and a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality management approaches.
