Position Summary
VBeyond Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Tech Lead for a long-term contract opportunity in San Diego, CA. This role requires a technical expert who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and have a strong background in software development, particularly with Apex and Java. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for guiding development teams, ensuring code quality, and implementing scalable solutions across multiple Salesforce platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Clouds.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Maintain a heavy hands-on presence in the codebase, specifically focusing on Apex development and Java integrations.
- Architect and implement robust integration solutions between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from initial design through deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the Salesforce platform within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of professional experience in software development and Salesforce architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in Apex programming and Java.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering high-quality enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical debt.
Work Schedule and Location
This is a hybrid role based in San Diego, CA. The selected candidate must be able to work from the local office 3 to 4 times per week. Only candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to the San Diego area will be considered. This position is offered on a C2C (Corp-to-Corp) basis.
Special Requirements
Only local candidates to California (San Diego) considered; Hybrid work (3-4 days in office) required; C2C contract mode only.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $150,000 per year
