Role Overview

The Netcracker Architect Developer is a high-impact position designed for a technical visionary who can navigate the complexities of modern telecommunications infrastructure. In this capacity, you will be the cornerstone of our BSS/OSS delivery team, providing the architectural blueprint for systems that handle millions of transactions and manage critical customer data. Your expertise in Netcracker will be called upon to solve intricate integration challenges, ensuring that disparate systems communicate effectively through robust API frameworks and middleware solutions. Beyond the technical aspects, you will serve as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the development teams, translating high-level business requirements into actionable technical specifications. This requires not only a deep understanding of the Netcracker product suite—including Billing, CRM, and Order Management—but also a broad knowledge of industry standards like TM Forum Open APIs and SID models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design of Netcracker BSS/OSS solutions, ensuring they meet the scalability and performance requirements of large-scale service providers.
  • Define the system landscape and integration patterns, specifically focusing on modules like Billing, CRM, Order Management, and Product Catalog.
  • Act as the primary technical authority during the delivery phase, reviewing and approving all solution designs and configurations.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and client IT leadership to ensure that the Netcracker product capabilities are fully leveraged.
  • Design robust integration frameworks using APIs, middleware, and event-based architectures to ensure seamless data flow between Netcracker and external systems.
  • Establish and enforce non-functional requirements, including security protocols, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Provide mentorship to junior consultants and technical leads, fostering a culture of technical excellence and adherence to best practices.
  • Support complex troubleshooting and performance tuning efforts, particularly in high-volume production environments.

Technical Requirements

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in the telecommunications industry, specifically within the BSS/OSS domain.
  • Deep hands-on expertise (5+ years) with the Netcracker platform, including configuration and customization.
  • Strong understanding of core telecom business processes such as Order-to-Cash, Lead-to-Activate, and Trouble-to-Resolve.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, API design, and system integration architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based deployments, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux environments, and scripting languages for automation and performance tuning.

Professional Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation or modernization programs for major telecom operators.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
  • Netcracker certifications are a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
