Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Server (EPBCS) Consultant to join our dynamic team in Enterprise, Utah. This role is critical for driving financial transformation and optimizing budgeting and forecasting processes for our enterprise clients. As a senior-level consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and administration of EPBCS modules, ensuring that financial data is leveraged effectively to support strategic decision-making.

Technical Requirements and Responsibilities

  • EPBCS Module Expertise: You must possess deep hands-on experience with core Oracle EPBCS modules, including Financials, Workforce, Capital Expenditure (CapEx), and Projects. You will lead the setup and configuration of these modules to meet specific business requirements.
  • Essbase Mastery: A strong foundation in Essbase is mandatory. This includes advanced knowledge of cube design (BSO and ASO), writing complex calculation scripts, and optimizing database performance for large-scale financial models.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in Business Rules and Groovy scripting is essential for creating custom logic and automating complex data movements within the EPBCS environment.
  • Data Integration: You will manage data integration workflows using Data Management and Data Exchange tools, ensuring seamless connectivity between EPBCS and various source systems.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Expertise in Smart View, dashboards, and Oracle reporting tools is required to provide stakeholders with actionable insights and high-quality financial reports.
  • Security and Administration: You will be responsible for application security, user provisioning, and general system administration to maintain a robust and secure planning environment.

Strategic Impact

Beyond technical execution, the ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) processes. You will act as a bridge between IT and Finance, translating complex budgeting and forecasting needs into technical solutions. Your ability to understand the nuances of workforce planning and capital project management will be vital in delivering a comprehensive planning solution that adds tangible value to the organization. Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle EPM/Hyperion implementations.
  • Proven track record of successful EPBCS cloud migrations or greenfield implementations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practices in financial systems.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Enterprise, Utah
