Position Summary

Scalable Systems is looking for a specialized IVR & AI Voice Testing Specialist to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This is a high-impact role focused on the quality assurance of next-generation voice technologies, including AI Voice Bots and Large Language Models (LLM). The successful candidate must be located in or able to work within the PST time zone to align with our project schedules. This 6-month contract offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of traditional IVR systems and cutting-edge conversational AI.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the testing efforts for IVR applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and functional accuracy.
  • Develop comprehensive testing deliverables, including Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Data preparation.
  • Execute functional, regression, and automation testing for AI Voice Bots and LLM-based systems.
  • Perform specialized testing for ASR (Speech-to-Text), NLU (Intent Recognition), and TTS (Text-to-Speech) components.
  • Conduct Dialog Management and NLG (Natural Language Generation) testing to verify the logic and flow of conversational agents.
  • Manage end-to-end integration testing to ensure all individual components of the voice pipeline work harmoniously.
  • Oversee security and compliance testing to protect user data and meet industry standards.
  • Participate in daily Scrums, design sessions, and requirement gathering meetings within an Agile framework.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Extensive experience in Interactive Voice Response (IVR) testing.
  • Proven expertise in AI Voice BOT Testing and LLM Testing methodologies.
  • Strong background in Functional and Regression testing with automation knowledge.
  • Familiarity with ASR, NLU, and TTS technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Onsite-Offshore team model with clear hand-over/take-over processes.
  • Excellent reporting skills for daily, weekly, and monthly status updates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Utility industry domain.
  • Experience with CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) systems.
  • Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies and product validation in a production environment.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: San Francisco, CA
