Position Summary: Citrix Lead & Azure Automation Specialist
We are looking for a visionary Citrix Lead who also possesses deep expertise as an Azure Infrastructure Automation Engineer. This remote role is critical for modernizing our cloud infrastructure and optimizing our virtualization environment. The successful candidate will lead the charge in developing automated operations frameworks across compute, network, storage, and security domains, while ensuring our Citrix Cloud and CVAD environments are seamlessly integrated and highly performant.
Core Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain sophisticated automation scripts and workflows for Azure resources using PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, and Azure Automation.
- CI/CD Leadership: Build and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps to ensure consistent infrastructure deployment and rigorous configuration drift control.
- Automated Operations: Develop and refine runbooks for auto-remediation, automated patching, and proactive cost optimization across multiple Azure subscriptions.
- Citrix Integration: Expertly integrate Citrix Cloud components, including Cloud Connectors and VDAs, with Azure resource groups using automated provisioning templates.
- Advanced Monitoring: Enhance and manage infrastructure monitoring via Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Sentinel to ensure proactive alerting and regulatory compliance.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce RBAC, Azure Policies, Blueprints, and Conditional Access to maintain a secure and compliant cloud operating environment.
- Virtualization Support: Provide high-level advisory and technical support for Citrix Cloud, AppStream, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) components.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Scripting Mastery: Advanced proficiency in PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, JSON, and Azure CLI.
- Cloud Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Resource Management, Cost Optimization, and Policy Enforcement.
- Virtualization Stack: Deep knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD), NetScaler ADC, and AppStream.
- Profile Management: Familiarity with FSLogix, Azure Files, and AVD profile management strategies.
- Security Protocols: Strong understanding of managed identities, Azure Key Vaults, and encryption at rest/in transit.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
