Job ID: 119
Role Overview
The Senior AI Architect role is a high-level strategic position designed for individuals with deep expertise in enterprise AI strategy and architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering production-grade AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI (GenAI) systems at scale. This is not just a theoretical role; it requires hands-on experience in building the infrastructure that powers modern intelligent applications. Core skills include AI platform and ecosystem design, agentic and multi-agent architectures, and the implementation of MLOps/LLMOps. You will work with cloud-native and distributed systems to create reusable AI assets such as prompts, agents, pipelines, and accelerators.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide AI architectures that support multi-agent systems and complex agentic workflows.
- Develop and maintain MLOps and LLMOps pipelines to ensure the continuous delivery and monitoring of AI models.
- Create reusable AI assets, including prompt templates, autonomous agents, and data processing pipelines to accelerate development.
- Establish AI governance frameworks to ensure the safety, security, and ethical use of AI technologies across the organization.
- Monitor AI system performance and implement cost-optimization strategies for large-scale deployments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate high-level business strategies into executable AI roadmaps.
- Design robust API and integration protocols to connect AI systems with existing enterprise software.
- Lead large-scale AI programs, serving as the primary architect and technical visionary.
Technical Expertise and Leadership
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of serving as an AI Architect on multiple large-scale programs. You should possess a deep understanding of communication protocols, API design, and the integration of AI into legacy and modern tech stacks. Experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and distributed computing is essential. Equally critical are skills in stakeholder leadership and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical executives. You must be able to bridge the gap between business needs and technical possibilities. This role requires a proactive approach to staying ahead of the rapidly evolving AI landscape, including staying current with the latest research in LLMs, neural networks, and cognitive computing.
Strategic Impact and Location
In addition to technical design, the AI Architect will play a key role in vendor selection and the evaluation of third-party AI tools and platforms. You will conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate new technologies before they are integrated into the enterprise ecosystem. The architect will also be responsible for defining the data strategy that supports AI initiatives, ensuring that data pipelines are scalable, secure, and compliant with global data protection regulations. As the AI landscape shifts towards more autonomous systems, the architect will lead the transition from simple chatbots to complex, goal-oriented agents that can perform multi-step tasks across different business domains. While the subject line may have mentioned remote work, the specific requirement for this role is onsite presence in North Carolina or Pennsylvania. Candidates must be prepared to work from the office to facilitate close collaboration with engineering and business teams. This onsite requirement is non-negotiable for the current phase of the AI program’s development.
Special Requirements
Onsite in North Carolina or Pennsylvania. Subject line mentions remote but body specifies onsite requirements.
