Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP BW Consultant with a specialized focus on S/4HANA and Snowflake integration. This role is critical for our data modernization initiative, where you will be responsible for bridging the gap between traditional SAP landscapes and modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in SAP BW/4HANA or BW 7.5 and a proven track record of implementing Snowflake-based analytics solutions using DBT and Dagster.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SAP BW landscapes, including the creation of aDSOs, CompositeProviders, and automated process chains.
- Lead the integration of SAP BW data models and structures into Snowflake, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
- Develop and validate Snowflake views and semantic layers that align with source BW objects to provide a unified view of business data.
- Utilize DBT (Data Build Tool) to architect and enhance silver and gold layer transformations within the Snowflake environment.
- Orchestrate and monitor end-to-end data pipelines using Dagster to ensure reliable data delivery across the analytics ecosystem.
- Deliver optimized SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) models and interactive dashboards to support executive decision-making.
- Manage day-to-day development tasks and provide high-level production support for the SAP BW environment.
- Execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, UAT, and regression testing, to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Support release cycles by leading cutover planning, readiness assessments, and go-live execution.
- Collaborate with client data leaders to ensure technical direction and governance standards are met.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience in SAP BW/4HANA or BW 7.5 landscapes.
- Hands-on expertise with Snowflake data warehousing and DBT transformation workflows.
- Proficiency in Dagster for pipeline orchestration and monitoring.
- Strong understanding of SAP SAC for modeling and dashboarding.
- Proven ability to work in MST/PST time zones and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
