Role Overview
We are looking for a highly specialized Oracle HCM Cloud Security Specialist to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role is critical for the design, implementation, and maintenance of security frameworks within our Oracle HCM Cloud environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our global workforce data is protected through robust access management features and sophisticated security role configurations. In the high-tech landscape of 2026, maintaining a secure and compliant HCM system is vital for operational excellence and data privacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and manage complex security roles and responsibilities within the Oracle HCM Cloud platform.
- Design and implement data security policies and Areas of Responsibility (AORs) to ensure precise access control.
- Utilize EL expressions to apply fine-grained security logic across various HCM modules.
- Perform regular audits of user roles and privileges to ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulations.
- Assess the impact of Oracle’s quarterly updates on existing security configurations and lead the necessary adjustments.
- Conduct thorough SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) in non-production environments to ensure seamless transitions.
- Engage with HR and IT stakeholders to gather security requirements and provide expert recommendations on best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex security-related issues, providing high-level support to the HR technology team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong, proven understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud security and access management features.
- Extensive experience in configuring and managing security roles, privileges, and security profiles.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage security issues effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with EL expressions for applying security logic.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical security configurations.
- Experience with SIT/UAT testing methodologies within an Oracle Cloud environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
