Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in Issaquah, WA. This role follows a hybrid model requiring three days of onsite presence per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining both on-premises and Azure cloud infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to ensure the availability, performance, and security of our development, testing, and production environments through advanced automation and configuration management.
Core Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Azure cloud and on-premises infrastructure using automated scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Manage the deployment of integrated and standalone releases across multiple interconnected applications.
- Utilize industry-standard DevOps tools to accelerate the delivery of products and services.
- Provide rapid issue resolution by executing quick fixes and proactively identifying potential bottlenecks in production environments.
- Automate development and test environments, including support for test data management.
- Develop tool integrations to provide end-to-end traceability from requirements to code changes.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot issues across Compute, Storage, and Network layers.
- Manage source code repositories, including merging, branching, and conflict resolution.
- Establish automated workflows for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Required Technical Skills
- 7+ years of experience with automation and orchestration technologies including Azure, Terraform, Jenkins, and Git.
- Demonstrated expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
- Hands-on experience managing and provisioning a wide range of Azure Services.
- Proficiency in multiple coding and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, or C#.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure AD, and Azure App Service.
- Experience with Azure Application Gateway, WAF, Front Door, and VPN Gateway.
- Working knowledge of networking protocols including DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Strong understanding of Information Security principles, including certificates and encryption.
- Mandatory experience with Terraform, containerization, and microservices architecture.
Professional Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400) are highly advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite).
Special Requirements
Hybrid role (3 days onsite); Face-to-Face (f2f) interview required; Terraform and AKS are mandatory.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
