Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a deep specialization in the Healthcare and Life Sciences domain. This role is critical for driving patient-centric solutions, focusing on patient adherence, support programs, and onboarding journeys. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of healthcare regulations and have a proven track record of bridging the gap between complex business needs and technical implementation. This is a high-impact position requiring a blend of analytical prowess and industry-specific knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of comprehensive business requirements specifically tailored to patient support programs and benefits verification.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT departments, external vendors, and patient services teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Documentation: Develop high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and detailed process flow diagrams.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of patient enrollment data, adherence metrics, and clinical outcomes to provide actionable insights for program improvement.
- Workflow Design: Define and optimize patient workflows, data flows, and business rules to enhance the overall patient experience and operational efficiency.
- UAT Support: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, including the management of defect triage and resolution processes.
- Compliance: Ensure all solutions and processes strictly adhere to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and GDPR, maintaining the highest standards of data privacy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst within the Healthcare or Life Sciences industry.
- Domain Expertise: Strong background in patient adherence, benefits verification, and patient engagement platforms.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, specifically Veeva or Salesforce Health Cloud, is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving capabilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
