Role Overview
AIFA Solutions LLC is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team for a long-term contract engagement with our premier client, Capital One. This position is based onsite in either McLean, VA, or Richmond, VA, and offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact financial technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in modern frontend and backend technologies, specifically ReactJS and Golang, and a proven track record of deploying scalable applications within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance applications on AWS cloud platforms.
- Build sophisticated user-facing enterprise applications using ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Develop and maintain backend microservices using Golang, focusing on high availability, low latency, and service scalability.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate frontend applications with complex backend services.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using a variety of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Take full ownership of the deployment process, utilizing Docker for containerization and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab for automated delivery.
- Perform reverse engineering, troubleshooting, and performance tuning on existing applications to ensure they meet evolving business needs.
- Participate in rigorous design and code reviews to maintain the highest standards of software quality and security.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment, working closely with product owners and peer engineers to deliver high-quality software on time.
- Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or CloudWatch to ensure application health and stability in production environments.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience in frontend development with ReactJS and its ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in backend development using Golang for microservices.
- Proven experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, shell scripting, and Git version control.
- Experience with relational or non-relational databases and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
