Role Overview: Senior Front End Developer (React.js)
Teamware Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Front End Developer with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience to join our client’s engineering team in the San Francisco and San Ramon, CA area. This is a critical role requiring a deep mastery of the React.js ecosystem and modern front-end architecture. As a senior-level contributor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex UI components that drive engaging user experiences for high-scale applications. This position is strictly for local candidates and requires a Day 1 onsite presence, reflecting the collaborative and high-stakes nature of the project environment in the 2026 tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership
- Architect and develop high-quality UI components using React.js, ensuring modularity and reusability across the enterprise.
- Translate complex wireframes, storyboards, and user flows into high-performance code and interactive elements that meet modern UI/UX standards.
- Implement sophisticated state management solutions using Zustand, Redux, or the Context API, tailored to the specific needs of the application architecture.
- Optimize front-end applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser performance, particularly for mobile-responsive environments.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high standards of code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
- Validate all user inputs before submission to backend services to ensure data integrity and security.
- Stay at the forefront of front-end development trends, evaluating and integrating new technologies such as Webpack, Rollup, and Storybook where appropriate.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in professional software development with a focus on front-end technologies.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Extensive hands-on experience with React.js and its core principles, including custom hooks and component lifecycle management.
- Deep knowledge of styling libraries such as Material-UI and Styled Components.
- Proven experience with front-end build tools and module bundlers like Webpack and Rollup.
- Strong understanding of DOM manipulation and parent-to-child routing using React-Router-Dom.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using Jest and React Testing Library to ensure robust application performance.
- Proficiency in integrating and consuming RESTful APIs within a React environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document technical aspects of projects for future reference and debugging.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $235,000 per year (Estimated)
