Position Summary
Scalable Systems is looking for a seasoned Java Full Stack Developer with 6 to 12 years of experience to join our engineering team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves the end-to-end development and maintenance of complex Java-based applications, spanning web, desktop, and server-side environments. You will be responsible for building high-performance RESTful APIs and intuitive user interfaces that meet the evolving needs of our global clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable full-stack applications using Java 17+ and the Spring Boot framework.
- Design and implement modern front-end architectures using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, Vue.js, or jQuery.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop sophisticated message flows and data mapping models for seamless system integration and routing.
- Ensure the security and maintainability of integration artifacts by following industry best practices for error handling and logging.
- Lead code reviews to maintain high quality standards and mentor junior developers on the team.
- Perform deep-dive impact analysis for system changes and provide rapid resolutions for production issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, including cloud-native development and microservices patterns.
Required Technical Skills
The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong proficiency in the Java ecosystem, specifically Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate. Extensive experience with SQL databases and ORM tools is essential. On the front end, you should be comfortable building responsive designs and managing state in modern JavaScript frameworks. Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipeline automation is a must.
