Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP MDG Developer to join our dynamic team in Summit, NJ. This is a long-term engagement requiring a hybrid presence of three days per week onsite. The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 5 years of dedicated, hands-on expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) across various domains including Material (MDG-M), Supplier (MDG-S), Customer (MDG-C), and Finance (MDG-F).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust MDG data models, UI models, and complex workflows to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain validations, derivations, and business rules using BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus).
- Configure and manage Data Replication Framework (DRF) and integration patterns utilizing IDoc, OData, APIs, and SAP PI/PO or CPI.
- Leverage deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures and governance concepts to optimize master data management.
- Execute core MDG framework activities including Central Governance, Consolidation, Mass Processing, and Data Quality Management (DQM).
- Operate effectively within an Application Managed Services (AMS) or support model, handling incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Coordinate release management activities, including regression testing and the creation of comprehensive documentation and runbooks.
- Utilize ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira following ITIL-style best practices.
- Provide technical leadership to guide teams and coordinate across multiple workstreams.
- Engage with senior business and IT stakeholders, demonstrating excellent client-facing communication skills.
Technical Requirements
- 8+ years of SAP experience with 5+ years specifically in SAP MDG.
- Expertise in MDG-M, MDG-S, MDG-C, and MDG-F.
- Proficiency in BRF+, DRF, and S/4HANA integration.
- Experience with SAP BTP and integration services like CPI and Event Mesh is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with AIF, SLT, and Fiori for MDG.
- Knowledge of regulated controls such as SOX, GxP, and GDPR.
Working Conditions
This position requires a hybrid work schedule with three days per week at our Summit, NJ office. Candidates must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation for critical production issues and support maintenance windows outside of standard business hours as needed.
Special Requirements
3 days/week Onsite in Summit, NJ. Experience with regulated controls (SOX/GxP/GDPR) preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year (Estimated)
