Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service) and ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service) Consultant for a long-term engagement in Texas. This role is pivotal for our client’s financial transformation journey, focusing on the optimization of planning, budgeting, and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will be a local resident of San Antonio or Plano, TX, capable of working onsite to collaborate directly with finance and IT leadership. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity requiring deep technical expertise in the Oracle EPM Cloud suite.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle EPBCS applications to support complex business planning and forecasting requirements.
- Configure and manage Oracle ARCS to streamline account reconciliation processes and ensure financial compliance.
- Develop and optimize Business Rules, Data Load Rules (DLR), and Data Exports to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Lead the technical aspects of the monthly and quarterly financial close cycles, providing expert support for planning and reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions within the Oracle EPM suite.
- Perform system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and regular maintenance of the EPM environment.
- Create detailed technical documentation and provide training to end-users to maximize system adoption.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate EPM solutions with other enterprise data sources.
Technical Expertise Required
- Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS Planning and ARCS is mandatory.
- Deep proficiency in writing and debugging complex Business Rules and Calc Scripts.
- Strong knowledge of Data Management/FDMEE for loading data into EPM applications.
- Experience with Smart View and Financial Reporting Studio for building executive-level reports.
- Understanding of financial accounting principles and the end-to-end financial close process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within the Grocery or Retail industry is a significant plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead workshops and present solutions to senior management.
- Proven track record of delivering EPM projects on time and within budget.
- Local residency in the San Antonio or Plano, Texas area is required for this onsite position.
Special Requirements
Onsite; Need Locals to Texas; Grocery/Retail domain experience is a plus.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
