The Senior Visual Designer position is a pivotal role designed for a creative professional who excels at translating complex brand strategies into compelling visual narratives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of visual designs for web and mobile interfaces, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across the entire product ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers to translate wireframes and user flows into high-fidelity visual mockups that are both beautiful and functional.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, including style guides, component libraries, and brand assets to ensure consistency across multiple teams.
- Apply advanced principles of color theory, typography, and layout to create engaging visual content that captures user attention and drives interaction.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and cross-functional teams, articulating the rationale behind visual choices and how they support business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in visual design to keep our products competitive and modern.
- Mentor junior designers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to foster a culture of continuous learning and creative growth.
- Oversee the production of visual assets, ensuring they are optimized for various devices and screen resolutions.
- Work with marketing teams to ensure that product visuals align with broader brand campaigns and messaging.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital product design.
- Expert-level proficiency in design software, specifically Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and modern UI tools like Figma or Sketch.
- Exceptional understanding of typography, including hierarchy, pairing, and custom lettering.
- Strong grasp of color theory and its psychological impact on user experience and brand perception.
- Experience working within an Agile development environment and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex design decisions to non-designers.
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Tools and Technologies
- Adobe Photoshop: Used for advanced image manipulation and creating detailed visual assets.
- Adobe Illustrator: Essential for vector-based illustrations, iconography, and logo design.
- Adobe InDesign: Utilized for layout design and complex document structures.
- Figma/Sketch: Primary tools for interface design and collaborative prototyping.
- Prototyping Tools: Experience with Principle, Framer, or InVision to bring static designs to life.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
