Role Overview

Purview Infotech LLC is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Java React Developer for a long-term contract opportunity (12+ months) with one of our prestigious clients located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a critical onsite role that requires a professional capable of delivering high-quality full-stack solutions. As a Java React Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of scalable web applications, ensuring that both backend services and frontend interfaces are optimized for performance, security, and user experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java, with a primary focus on the Spring and Spring Boot frameworks to support enterprise-level applications.
  • Architect and build responsive, reusable, and high-performance frontend components using React.js, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user interface.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate efficient communication between the frontend and backend systems while maintaining data integrity.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and internal coding standards.
  • Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct and participate in rigorous code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks across the entire application stack.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and provide technical leadership to ensure the long-term scalability and maintainability of the systems.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in the Java and JavaScript ecosystems to drive continuous innovation.

Technical Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Proven proficiency in the React.js ecosystem, including advanced JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework, specifically Spring Boot, for building microservices and RESTful web services.
  • Solid understanding of client-server architecture and experience in designing and consuming complex APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems, including proficiency in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with version control systems, specifically Git, and collaborative development workflows.
  • Familiarity with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Maven, Jenkins, Docker).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in full-stack software development with a focus on Java and React.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a significant plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
