Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior OBIEE / ODI Consultant to join our dynamic team for a high-impact project in Philadelphia, PA. This role is designed for a technical expert who possesses a deep understanding of the Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) ecosystem and can drive the end-to-end delivery of complex data integration and reporting solutions. As a senior consultant, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust BI platforms that empower stakeholders with actionable insights. This position requires a blend of technical prowess in ETL development and a strategic mindset for data modeling and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into the data warehouse.
- Architect and maintain the OBIEE Repository (RPD), including the Physical, Business Model and Mapping, and Presentation layers, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Create sophisticated dashboards, ad-hoc reports, and interactive visualizations that meet the diverse needs of business users across the organization.
- Perform advanced performance tuning of SQL queries, ODI interfaces, and OBIEE reports to ensure high availability and rapid response times.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to define data requirements and design scalable data models (Star and Snowflake schemas).
- Implement security protocols within the BI environment, including object-level and data-level security, to protect sensitive information.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data discrepancies, system failures, and integration bottlenecks.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 12c or higher.
- Proven track record of successful implementations using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for large-scale data integration projects.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
- Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and Dimensional Modeling.
- Experience with Oracle Database (12c/19c) and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (OAC/ADW) is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in the BI and Data Integration space.
- Oracle certifications in OBIEE or ODI are highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year
