Role Overview: Salesforce QA Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Salesforce QA Lead to spearhead quality assurance initiatives across our Salesforce ecosystem, with a specialized focus on Copado-based automation. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability and performance of our Salesforce releases in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. As the lead, you will be responsible for driving the test strategy, owning the regression quality, and partnering with a cross-functional team of administrators, developers, and product owners to deliver a seamless Salesforce experience for our users in Madison, WI.
Key Responsibilities and Automation Focus
- Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive automation framework using Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium, Provar, and TestNG as applicable to the project needs.
- Lead the creation and execution of automated Salesforce Lightning regression suites to ensure platform stability across frequent release cycles.
- Integrate automated testing protocols into existing CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and rapid deployment.
- Track, analyze, and report on critical automation coverage and quality metrics to stakeholders, providing actionable insights for process improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all QA-related activities, providing leadership and mentorship to senior and junior team members alike.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize the release management process using Copado and other version control tools.
Technical Environment and Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and the nuances of testing within a Lightning environment. You must have a proven track record of automating Salesforce application UIs specifically using Copado. We are looking for a leader who is ready to take ownership of the QA domain, whether you have prior lead experience or are a high-performing senior candidate ready to step into a leadership role. Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket is highly preferred, as is exposure to performance and security testing within the Salesforce cloud. Salesforce certifications, including Administrator or Platform App Builder, will be considered a significant advantage in the selection process.

Qualifications and Mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years in Quality Assurance, with at least 4 years dedicated to Salesforce testing.
- Expertise in Copado Robotic Testing is a non-negotiable requirement for this lead position.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical testing concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset focused on identifying bottlenecks in the development lifecycle and proposing automated solutions.
Special Requirements
Onsite requirement in Madison, WI; 12-18 months contract duration.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
