Position Summary: Senior Front-End Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience to join our elite Invest team. This role is designed for a technical leader who thrives in a remote-friendly environment and is eager to set the technical direction for a rapidly growing business function. Our architecture is currently in a ‘greenfield’ state, providing a unique opportunity for the right candidate to influence the overall design and platform capabilities for years to come. You will be working at the intersection of finance and technology, building products that have a high impact on our global user base.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and deploy resilient and scalable user-facing products using a modern stack of React, TypeScript, and Kotlin.
- Utilize React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript to transform complex designs into performant, maintainable, and accessible user interfaces.
- Collaborate deeply with engineering and product stakeholders to build industry-leading financial tools and products.
- Work within a team of like-minded engineers focused on software excellence, participating in rigorous code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Translate user stories and business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring a balance between speed of delivery and code quality.
- Generate innovative ideas for new initiatives and technologies that can enhance our service-oriented architecture.
- Communicate effectively with project leads and product managers to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Technical Stack and Requirements
Our core technology stack is built on Java/Kotlin, Spring, PostgreSQL, and React, running on Kubernetes within a service-oriented architecture consisting of over 100 production services. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field and at least 10 years of programming experience. Specifically, we require 5+ years on a modern stack and 2+ years of intensive work with React and TypeScript. You should have a strong knowledge of semantic HTML and responsive design best practices, particularly for mobile-web environments. We value engineers who are willing to ‘roll up their sleeves,’ collaborate across teams, and drive projects from inception to completion with a solid sense of responsibility.

In 2026, our focus is on building ‘intelligent’ frontends that leverage real-time data streaming from our Kotlin microservices. As a Senior Developer, you will lead the implementation of advanced state management patterns and micro-frontend architectures to support our expanding suite of financial products. Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience with a focus on frontend engineering.

- Strong problem-solving skills and an affinity for shipping impactful features.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
