Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Vlocity Developer to join our dynamic team in Hartford, CT. This is a hybrid role that offers the perfect balance of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration. As a key member of our Salesforce practice, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions using the Salesforce platform and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) suite. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications that drive business value. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and a proven track record of successful Vlocity implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of Salesforce and Vlocity solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical best practices.
- Develop custom components using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura frameworks to enhance the user experience and provide advanced functionality.
- Utilize Vlocity tools such as Omniscripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures to build streamlined business processes and data transformations.
- Implement complex business logic using Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Flows, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Design and develop robust integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, managing data flow and security.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain high-quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Perform thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and architectural best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performing performance tuning and debugging to optimize application efficiency.
- Support data migration activities and DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, to ensure smooth and reliable application deployments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce and Vlocity features and releases, including emerging technologies like Agentforce and AI-driven enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Salesforce development with a focus on enterprise-level applications.
- Proven hands-on experience with Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- Strong proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Lightning App Builder for modern UI development.
- Expertise in Apex programming, Visualforce pages, and advanced Salesforce Flows for automation.
- Extensive experience building and managing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Active Salesforce Certification (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Vlocity Developer) is required to demonstrate technical proficiency.
- Familiarity with Agentforce and other AI-driven Salesforce features is highly desirable in the current market landscape.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, version control (Git), and data migration tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
