Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic SAP Ariba Integration Project Manager to lead a high-priority modernization initiative for a premier client within the Financial Services sector. This 100% remote contract position is designed for a seasoned professional who excels at the intersection of procurement technology and complex enterprise integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating a multi-faceted program that leverages the SAP Ariba ecosystem to drive operational efficiency and digital transformation. This role requires a deep understanding of the SAP Activate methodology and the ability to manage diverse technical teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the end-to-end project lifecycle for SAP Ariba integration, encompassing discovery, design thinking, Agile execution, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Manage complex integrations across a diverse technology stack, including SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), Orbis, MaxSight, and Compliance Catalyst.
  • Facilitate critical Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to ensure iterative delivery of high-value features.
  • Lead comprehensive workshops including Fit-to-Standard analysis and As-Is/To-Be process mapping to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Oversee the modernization of core procurement workflows, specifically focusing on Supplier Request, Supplier Registration, and automated data update processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, providing transparent reporting on project milestones, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure robust project governance and scope control while maintaining a focus on scalable and compliant architectural designs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage data orchestration and interface requirements across multiple enterprise systems.

Technical and Professional Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years dedicated to Project or Program Management.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale SAP Ariba integration programs within complex corporate environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
  • Strong background in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and the SAP Activate framework.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate the unique regulatory and compliance requirements of the Financial Services domain.
  • PMP or SAP Activate certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with process modeling tools such as SAP Signavio is a plus.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
