Role Overview
Noble Soft Technologies is currently seeking a seasoned Python Backend Engineer with a strong background in Data Engineering to join our client’s engineering team in Seattle, WA. This is a high-impact role requiring a physical presence in the office five days a week. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between traditional backend development and modern data architecture, focusing heavily on the design and implementation of scalable RESTful APIs and robust data pipelines. With at least 7 years of professional experience in full-stack environments, you will be instrumental in driving technical excellence and ensuring the seamless integration of front-end interfaces with complex back-end systems and cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy end-to-end applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs that serve as the backbone for various business applications.
- Manage and optimize diverse database environments, including SQL, Snowflake, NoSQL, and Vector DBs, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Build and refine large-scale ETL processes and data pipelines to handle massive datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and cross-functional product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using modern tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Octopus to streamline the deployment process.
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker to ensure consistent environments across development, testing, and production.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support for existing applications and APIs.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in the Python ecosystem and data engineering space to recommend improvements and innovations.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a primary focus on Python-based backend systems.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, specifically focusing on ETL workflows and large-scale data processing frameworks.
- Proven track record (3+ years) in designing and maintaining production-grade RESTful APIs.
- Deep proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid.
- Strong front-end skills including JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
- Expertise in database management with SQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
- Experience with cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Data Science libraries such as Numpy, Pandas, and Scipy.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year
