Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Logistics Business Analyst for a critical contract role based in Franklin Lakes, NJ. This position operates on a hybrid schedule and is slated to run through the end of December 2026, with a strong potential for extension into 2027 as the client moves into Phase 3 of the APM Migration project. The successful candidate will serve as a primary Logistics consultant, leading and driving data-related objects while collaborating closely with the Data Team from a functional standpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the SAP LE Senior Consultant and Lead, overseeing implementation and support projects within the logistics domain.
- Drive data-related objects for the logistics area, ensuring seamless integration between functional requirements and data team outputs.
- Manage complex SAP Order to Cash (OTC) processes, including shipping, shipment, and picking-packing workflows.
- Oversee SAP Logistics Execution for both outbound and inbound processes, ensuring efficiency in supply chain operations.
- Coordinate third-party logistics (3PL) external warehouse and transportation processes, utilizing deep knowledge of EDI integration.
- Handle SAP Stock Transfer Processes and Third-party processes to optimize inventory movement.
- Manage SAP Handling Unit (HU) Management, Batch Management, and Serial Number Management to maintain high data integrity and traceability.
- Support SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Inventory Management (IM) processes, including Physical Inventory Management.
- Utilize SAP RF Functionality to enhance warehouse operations and real-time data capture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP Material Management (MM) alignment with logistics goals.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in SAP Logistics.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP LE, SAP WM, SAP S4/HANA, and SAP ECC processes.
- Proven expertise in EDI and Interface knowledge for external system integrations.
- Strong understanding of SAP Stock Transport Order (STO) and Consignment processes.
- Ability to resolve highly complex technical issues and handle custom enhancements based on specific customer requirements.
Soft Skills and Leadership
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teamwork, providing guidance to junior team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced project environment.
Special Requirements
Hybrid role; Contract until Dec 2026; Potential extension for APM Migration Phase 3; Requires EDI integration knowledge.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
