Role Overview
As a Senior Generative AI Lead at Samson Software Solutions, Inc., you will be at the forefront of the artificial intelligence revolution in 2026. This role is designed for a visionary technologist who possesses a deep understanding of the evolving landscape of large language models (LLMs) and their practical applications in enterprise environments. You will lead the design and implementation of the core intelligence layer for our next-generation AI applications, focusing on autonomous agents, complex decision logic, and sophisticated RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures. This position requires a blend of high-level strategic thinking and hands-on engineering excellence to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build multi-step and multi-agent workflows that enable autonomous reasoning and task execution.
- Implement advanced RAG pipelines, optimizing document retrieval strategies and context window management for maximum accuracy.
- Design and refine prompt templates, system instructions, and robust guardrails to mitigate hallucinations and ensure safe AI interactions.
- Integrate AI agents with a variety of external tools, proprietary APIs, and internal microservices to create comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
- Optimize system performance by focusing on latency reduction, token usage efficiency, and overall model throughput.
- Develop and maintain automated LLM evaluation frameworks and regression tests using tools like LangSmith to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Technical Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Python development, with a focus on asynchronous programming and scalable backend architectures.
- Extensive hands-on experience with leading Agent and RAG frameworks, specifically LangChain, LlamaIndex, and DSPy.
- Deep familiarity with major LLM APIs, including Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, and Anthropic Claude.
- Proven track record of working with vector databases such as Pinecone and Weaviate to manage high-dimensional data.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering techniques, including few-shot prompting, chain-of-thought reasoning, and self-correction mechanisms.
- Experience with cloud-native AI services and the ability to deploy models in production-grade environments.
- Solid foundation in software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and comprehensive unit testing.
Professional Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of experience in software engineering, with the last 3-4 years focused specifically on AI/ML and Generative AI technologies. You should demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate the rapidly changing AI ecosystem. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to mentor junior engineers and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Salary: $180,000 – $250,000 per year (Estimated)
