Position Summary
DMS Visions INC is seeking an experienced SAP BTP WorkZone Advanced Edition Consultant for a high-impact, 6-month contract engagement in Bellevue, WA. This role is critical for a major digital transformation project, focusing on the design and deployment of advanced applications within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in SAP RAP and cloud-native development to help our client build secure, scalable, and future-proof enterprise solutions. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates willing to work onsite in Bellevue.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated applications using the SAP BTP environment and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Implement complex RAP behavior definitions, CDS views, service bindings, and service definitions, including draft handling and transactional processing.
- Build end-to-end OData V4 services using RAP and integrate them seamlessly with UI frameworks such as SAP Fiori Elements and UI5.
- Develop reusable Core Data Services (CDS) artifacts and extensibility frameworks to enhance the BTP ecosystem.
- Integrate SAP BTP applications with core systems including S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Utilize BTP services such as Event Mesh, Destination Service, and Identity Authentication Service (IAS) to create integrated workflows.
- Optimize application performance and ensure all code complies with SAP ‘Clean Core’ and cloud-ready coding standards.
- Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams to ensure secure deployment and scalability of cloud-native applications.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and design specifications for all development activities.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in SAP RAP (both managed and unmanaged scenarios) and advanced CDS View modeling.
- Proven experience with OData V4 services and the consumption of these services via Fiori Elements.
- Hands-on experience integrating BTP applications with S/4HANA, CPI, API Management, and Event Mesh.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native principles, including multi-tenant application architecture and BTP deployment strategies.
- Experience with Git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS) or ABAP Git for version control.
- Deep knowledge of SAP BTP WorkZone Advanced Edition and its configuration.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8-10 years of professional experience in SAP development and consulting.
- Strong background in ABAP and modern SAP technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a complex project environment.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration between technical and functional teams.

This is a 6-month contract position based onsite in Bellevue, WA. Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year (Estimated)
