Role Overview: Senior Mulesoft Developer
We are seeking a highly experienced Mulesoft Developer for a long-term contract engagement in Eden Prairie, MN. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the IT industry, with a deep specialization in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. As a senior member of the integration team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of complex integration projects, from initial design and proof-of-concept to deployment and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical mastery in API-led connectivity and a strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks to ensure seamless application support and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Scope
- Lead the design and development of robust MuleSoft integrations using the Anypoint Platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Architect and implement API-led connectivity strategies to facilitate seamless data flow across disparate systems.
- Utilize Mule CloudHub for cloud-based deployments, managing environment configurations and monitoring application performance.
- Identify and establish new integration patterns, conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate emerging technologies and methodologies.
- Build and maintain automated DevOps pipelines to streamline the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of Mule applications.
- Develop and maintain reusable MuleSoft templates and fragments to accelerate development cycles and ensure consistency across projects.
- Provide expert-level support within an ITIL/ITSM framework, managing incident resolution, change management, and problem management for integration services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver high-quality integration solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices for MuleSoft development and integration design.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
The successful candidate must demonstrate a track record of success in large-scale integration environments. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Digital and MuleSoft technologies is mandatory. Candidates should have extensive hands-on experience with DataWeave, MUnit, and various Mule connectors (HTTP, Database, Salesforce, SAP, etc.). Proficiency in integration topologies and iPaaS concepts is essential. Beyond technical skills, we value professionals with excellent communication abilities and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. Experience in the healthcare or financial sectors, common in the Eden Prairie business landscape, is a significant advantage. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and be capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. This contract offers a competitive rate of $70/hr and the opportunity to work on high-impact digital transformation initiatives.
