Position Summary
Smart Caliber Technology is looking for a Treasury Analyst for a 12-month hybrid contract based in Lincoln, NE. This role is critical for facilitating daily treasury operations, including the execution of outgoing wires and EFTs. The successful candidate will monitor the company’s daily cash position to cover commitments and optimize short-term borrowing or investments.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor the daily cash position of the company to ensure liquidity.
- Execute and manage ACH, wire payments, and positive pay processes.
- Pool cash from secondary bank accounts and move funds to meet financial obligations.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing treasury processes and documentation.
- Produce and deliver treasury-related reports to management on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams to provide data and resolve inquiries.
- Partner with external banking institutions to ensure timely execution of payments.
- Maintain financial integrity by adhering to established internal controls.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in treasury, accounting, or finance.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict intraday deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Previous experience specifically within a treasury function is strongly desired.
- Knowledge of the banking industry and financial operations.
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is highly desired.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring a presence in Lincoln, NE. The position offers the opportunity to work on treasury functions that impact all parts of the Ameritas enterprise, providing broad exposure to corporate financial operations.
Special Requirements
Hybrid work model. 12-month contract duration. CTP designation preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 per year (Estimated)
