Opportunity: SAP Functional Consultant (SSAM / FSN) – 100% Remote
Dcode Talent is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Functional Consultant for a long-term, 100% remote contract opportunity. This role focuses on SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) and Field Service Management (FSN). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing asset management and service delivery processes for our client, ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements for service and asset management.
- Solution Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration of SAP SSAM and FSN modules to meet specific business needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Integration Management: Collaborate closely with technical teams and ABAP developers to support complex integrations and system enhancements.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, execute functional testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution stability.
- Deployment and Support: Manage the deployment of solutions and provide ongoing production support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution for end-users.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
- SAP Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) and Field Service Management (FSN) is mandatory.
- Asset Management: Strong understanding of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) processes within the SAP ecosystem.
- Mobile Solutions: Experience with SAP mobile technologies and how they integrate with back-end SAP S/4HANA or ECC systems.
- Consulting Background: Proven track record of working as a functional consultant on large-scale SAP implementations or upgrade projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $235,000 per year (Estimated)
