Position Overview
The RPA Engineer specializing in UiPath is a critical technical role focused on driving operational efficiency through intelligent automation. Located in the financial hubs of Charlotte, NC, or New York City, this hybrid role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects that modernize legacy workflows and enhance the digital workforce. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze business processes to anticipate requirements and uncover areas for improvement through potential process automations.
- Design, develop, and test robust automation workflows using the UiPath platform, ensuring high reliability and scalability.
- Deploy RPA components, including bots, robots, development tools, code repositories, and logging tools, into production environments.
- Identify and document process improvements that significantly reduce manual workflows or improve work-life quality for employees and supporting teams.
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders to produce Process Definition Documents (PDD) including current and future state workflows.
- Design process improvements or process re-engineering strategies, recommending the elimination of redundant steps to optimize performance.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand process requirements and manage changes effectively.
- Create both functional and user acceptance test (UAT) cases and perform rigorous testing to ensure solution accuracy.
- Monitor existing RPA solutions in the production environment to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to RPA systems and applications, investigating and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Maintain detailed documentation of RPA processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Required Expertise and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in defining and documenting user requirements and facilitating development releases.
- 3-5 years of dedicated experience with the development and support of RPA solutions, specifically using the UiPath ecosystem.
- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification is mandatory for this role.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into effective and detailed user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and the ability to work within iterative sprint cycles.
- Strong analytical and time management skills, with a proven track record of meeting project milestones and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
Contract Details and Special Requirements
This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with a competitive rate of $55/hr on C2C. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence in either Charlotte, NC, or New York City. Candidates must provide a Passport Number for submission and should be aware of visa restrictions: this position does not support CPT, OPT, or H1B visas.
