Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Prospecta MDO (Master Data Online) Maintenance Data Consultant for a remote position supporting our client, Accenture. This role is pivotal in managing and governing maintenance and asset master data within the SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) ecosystem. As organizations increasingly rely on data-driven decision-making for asset reliability and operational efficiency, the role of an MDO consultant becomes essential in ensuring data integrity and standardization across global operations. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks that empower maintenance teams with accurate and actionable information.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and design Prospecta MDO workflows, forms, and data models specifically tailored for maintenance master data management.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards for critical SAP PM objects, including Equipment, Functional Locations, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Task Lists.
- Develop and implement complex validation rules, quality checks, and duplicate detection logic within the MDO platform to maintain high data quality.
- Facilitate seamless integration between Prospecta MDO and SAP environments, whether on S/4HANA or ECC platforms, ensuring real-time data synchronization.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance planners, reliability engineers, and corporate data governance teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to data synchronization and workflow execution, providing timely resolutions to minimize operational disruptions.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of MDO configurations and assist in the deployment of new features and enhancements through structured release management.
- Provide technical guidance on scripting and integration logic using SQL, JavaScript, and JSON/XML to extend platform capabilities.
Technical Qualifications
- Proven experience with the Prospecta MDO platform and its application in maintenance data governance and master data management.
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP PM modules and asset hierarchy standards, including familiarity with ISO 14224.
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, including data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and archiving.
- Technical proficiency in SQL for data analysis and JavaScript for workflow customization and business rule implementation.
- Experience with API-based integrations and data exchange formats like JSON and XML for connecting disparate systems.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications within the MDO framework.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.
