Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevSecOps Engineer to join our specialized Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform team. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between application engineering, cloud infrastructure, and security operations. In the evolving landscape of 2026, security is no longer a perimeter-based concept but an identity-centric one. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our IAM services are not only robust and secure but also highly available and scalable. This position requires a unique blend of software development expertise, operational excellence, and a security-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade IAM services and the underlying cloud infrastructure.
  • Own the end-to-end release engineering lifecycle, ensuring that production deployments are safe, automated, and reliable.
  • Actively participate in on-call rotations and incident response efforts, including leading technical ‘war rooms’ to resolve critical issues.
  • Drive comprehensive vulnerability remediation across both application code and infrastructure layers, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security Architects, Platform Engineers, and Customer Success teams, to meet strict SLAs.
  • Implement and optimize disaster recovery strategies and operational resilience frameworks to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize advanced AI-driven development tools to accelerate delivery velocity and improve code quality.

Technical Requirements

  • Extensive proficiency in Java development, specifically building microservices using the Spring Framework.
  • Strong experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Proven track record in release engineering and managing complex production environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with a strong preference for GitHub Actions.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Splunk, including writing complex SPL queries and building dashboards.
  • Familiarity with security-critical platforms and regulated environments (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, or GDPR compliance).

AI Proficiency & Productivity

In alignment with our 2026 operational standards, all engineering staff are required to demonstrate high proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools. This includes maintaining a minimum of 90% weekly usage of platforms such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot. You will be expected to leverage these tools for code generation, automated documentation, data analysis, and rapid troubleshooting. Continuous learning is a core component of this role, as you will need to stay updated on the latest GenAI capabilities to drive operational efficiency and delivery velocity.

Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the stability of the IAM platform.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm and focused under the pressure of high-priority incidents.
  • A collaborative spirit that fosters knowledge sharing and cross-team synergy.

Special Requirements

Remote; IAM domain restriction; Mandatory 90% weekly usage of approved AI tools; On-call rotation and incident response participation required.
