Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Zuora Solution Architect and Integration Specialist to lead a critical stabilization and optimization project. This is a high-impact role designed for a technical expert who can personally execute configurations, data fixes, and complex integrations within a Zuora environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for rescuing unstable implementations and ensuring a steady state for billing and revenue operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Zuora Billing Stabilization: Own the end-to-end configuration of Zuora Billing. This includes diagnosing and resolving failed jobs, rating issues, and invoicing errors. You will be expected to fix product catalogs, rate plans, and subscription amendments personally.
- Revenue Recognition (RevPro): Stabilize month-end and quarter-end revenue close operations within Zuora Revenue. You will manage revenue rules, allocation logic, and SSP handling to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oracle Fusion Integration: Design and troubleshoot integrations between Zuora and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This involves fixing journal entry posting failures and resolving data mismatches.
- Hands-on Execution: This is not an advisory role. You must be capable of performing data corrections, API calls (REST/SOAP), and mapping transformations without delegation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure billing accuracy and audit readiness.
Technical Requirements
- Deep expertise in Zuora Billing (Product Catalog, Subscriptions, Invoicing).
- Extensive experience with Zuora Revenue (RevPro) rules and contract management.
- Proven track record with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for root-cause analysis in complex enterprise billing environments.
- Experience in SaaS or subscription-based revenue models is highly preferred.
Project Context
This engagement is specifically focused on rescue and turnaround. We need a professional who has successfully brought broken Zuora environments to a steady state within aggressive timelines. You will be expected to document all fixes and establish best practices to prevent future recurrence of data integrity issues.
Special Requirements
East Coast (EST) candidates only; Hands-on execution required (no delegation); Experience in rescue/turnaround projects; Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP exposure.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 per year (Estimated)
