Position Summary
The OSMC Techno-Functional Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC). This role requires a unique blend of functional business process knowledge and technical configuration expertise. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that subscription-based business models are accurately reflected in the Oracle Fusion ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Lead client workshops to define subscription models, including recurring, usage-based, and evergreen contracts. Translate complex business needs into detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
- System Configuration: Configure OSMC modules, including product catalogs, pricing rules, billing schedules, and proration logic. Set up discount structures and renewal rules to automate the subscription lifecycle.
- Integration Management: Ensure seamless data flow between OSMC and other Oracle modules such as Order Management (OM), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Revenue Management (RMCS). Manage integrations with external third-party billing or CRM systems.
- Compliance & Standards: Apply deep knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) to ensure that subscription billing and revenue accounting are compliant with global financial regulations.
- Testing & Support: Drive System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Troubleshoot complex configuration issues and provide post-go-live support and user training.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the full subscription lifecycle, including amendments, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations, ensuring data consistency across the Install Base.
Technical & Functional Depth
In the 2026 landscape, subscription models have become increasingly complex. This role demands expertise in handling high-volume usage-based billing and multi-element arrangements. You will be expected to navigate the Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture, utilizing your understanding of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process to optimize financial workflows. Your ability to convert legacy contracts into OSMC while maintaining historical integrity is critical for successful digital transformation projects.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
