Project Overview
Stellent IT LLC is recruiting an expert iOS Swift Developer for a long-term 18-month contract with the New York State Information Technology Services (ITS) in Albany, NY. This is a high-impact role requiring Day 1 onsite presence and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience. The project involves developing and maintaining mission-critical mobile applications using the latest Apple technologies to serve the citizens of New York.
Core Responsibilities
- SwiftUI Development: Utilize the SwiftUI framework to build modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that adhere to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
- Swift Programming: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using the Swift programming language, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Database Integration: Implement and manage local data storage solutions using SQLite, ensuring efficient data retrieval and synchronization.
- Business Analysis & Design: Collaborate with business analysts to translate complex requirements into technical design specifications and interactive mockups.
- Quality Assurance: Support testing teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining functional scripts, business use cases, and resolving identified defects.
Technical Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess at least 60 months of dedicated experience with SwiftUI and 84 months of experience with the Swift programming language. Proficiency in SQLite is mandatory (60 months). Experience with the Combine framework, MVVM architecture, and integrating RESTful APIs is highly preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and participating in rigorous code reviews.
Submission Requirements
Due to the nature of the client, specific documentation is required for submission. All applicants must provide a stamped VISA copy (if applicable), Passport copy, Driver’s License or State ID, and a copy of their Bachelor’s Degree. Additionally, three professional references are mandatory at the time of submission. An in-person (F2F) interview in Albany is required for final selection.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $85 – $115 per year (Estimated)
