Senior Java Developer Opportunity
Tekshapers Inc is seeking a highly seasoned Senior Java Developer with over 14 years of professional experience to join our engineering team. This role is designed for a technical leader who can architect, design, and implement complex, scalable software solutions. The successful candidate will work on mission-critical applications, leveraging modern Java frameworks and cloud-native technologies to drive business value for our clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Lead the design and architecture of robust, high-performance Java applications. Ensure that system designs align with long-term business goals and technical scalability requirements.
- Full-Stack Development: Utilize Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture to build secure and efficient backend systems. Integrate with modern frontend frameworks and database technologies.
- Code Quality & Mentorship: Maintain high standards of code quality through rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
- Cloud Integration: Design and deploy applications within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), focusing on containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipeline optimization.
- Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing applications. Optimize database queries and application logic to ensure low-latency responses.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
Technical Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 14 years of hands-on experience in Java development. Expertise in the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud) is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and memory management in Java. Experience with RESTful API design, SQL/NoSQL databases, and automated testing frameworks is required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment are critical for success in this role.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $220,000 per year (Estimated)
