- Develop and maintain complex business rules and calculation scripts, with a rigorous focus on performance tuning and runtime optimization to ensure system efficiency.
- Lead metadata management efforts using EDMCS, DRM, or DRG, including the design of hierarchies, mappings, and automated workflows.
- Architect and manage data integration processes, utilizing Data Management and Data Integration tools to facilitate seamless data loads from various GL sources.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and FP&A stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical designs and planning cycle architectures.
- Implement robust financial reconciliation and validation controls to ensure data integrity across integrated financial systems.
- Automate routine tasks and batch orchestration using PowerShell and Batch scripting; proficiency in Python is considered a significant advantage.
- Provide expert-level support during all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), from initial requirements gathering through deployment and post-production support.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of dedicated Oracle EPM experience, with a primary focus on Oracle EPM Cloud modules.
- Proven expertise in EPBCS, Planning, Essbase, and Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS/HFM).
- Extensive experience with Enterprise Data Management tools such as EDMCS, DRM, and DRG.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages, specifically PowerShell and Batch; Python experience is highly preferred for modern automation.
- Demonstrated ability to design complex planning processes, including cycle design and business process alignment, rather than just technical rule building.
- Hands-on experience with GL integrations and the implementation of financial reconciliation controls in a large enterprise environment.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in high-pressure environments.
- Strong communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and non-technical financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, maintaining high productivity while onsite in Quincy, MA.
