Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Developer to join our dynamic team in Lake Mary, FL. This is a critical role focused on the design, development, and integration of complex billing solutions within the insurance domain. As a senior developer, you will be responsible for configuring and integrating Guidewire BillingCenter to meet specific business requirements, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability of the system. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring three days onsite in Lake Mary, with potential remote options for the initial contract period followed by relocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and integration of Guidewire BillingCenter modules, including billing instructions, payment processing, and delinquency management.
- Develop and maintain GOSU scripts and classes to implement complex business logic and integration points.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Design and implement integration patterns with external systems such as general ledgers, payment gateways, and policy administration systems.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and performance tuning to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers within the team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for Guidewire development.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 4 years of recent, hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter, specifically in configuration and integration.
- Proven expertise in GOSU programming and Guidewire Studio.
- Strong understanding of the Guidewire data model and application architecture.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST).
- Guidewire BillingCenter certifications are highly preferred.
- Prior experience in the auto insurance industry is a significant advantage.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $165,000 per year (Estimated)
