Position Summary
Technocraft Solutions is looking for a talented React / Node Developer for a long-term contract position onsite in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a full-stack specialist who thrives in agile environments and possesses a strong technical foundation in modern JavaScript frameworks. You will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance user interfaces and integrating them seamlessly with robust Node.js back-end services. This position requires a local candidate capable of attending a single-round, in-person interview.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React, focusing on hooks, state management, and component lifecycles.
- Design and implement scalable back-end APIs using Node.js to support complex business logic and data requirements.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and stakeholders, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Implement unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library to ensure application reliability.
- Manage project tasks and workflows using Azure DevOps (ADO) boards within an agile framework.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline management to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Strong proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques.
- Extensive experience with Node.js and building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack or Vite and package managers like npm or yarn.
- Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git and Azure DevOps.
- Experience in writing comprehensive tests for both front-end and back-end components.
- Ability to optimize UI performance for enterprise-level contexts.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $75 – $95 per year (Estimated)
