Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Director of Marketing Operations to lead our marketing technology and process initiatives in Atlanta, GA. This leadership role is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing engine, ensuring that our systems, data, and processes support our aggressive growth targets. You will oversee the entire marketing technology stack, with a particular focus on CRM systems and lead management processes. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who understands how to leverage AI and automation to drive enterprise-level sales success. You will work closely with sales and marketing leadership to align strategies and ensure a seamless handoff between departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction of Marketing Operations, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
- Oversee the management and optimization of CRM systems to ensure data integrity and actionable insights.
- Design and implement sophisticated lead management processes, from acquisition to conversion.
- Integrate AI and automation tools into the marketing workflow to enhance personalization and productivity.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Sales teams to define and meet technical and operational requirements.
- Analyze marketing performance data to provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Manage the marketing technology budget and vendor relationships to ensure maximum ROI.
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations across all marketing activities.
- Mentor and lead a team of marketing operations professionals to achieve departmental goals.
Technical and Professional Requirements
The candidate must have extensive experience in Marketing Operations at a leadership level. Deep expertise in CRM platforms (such as Salesforce or HubSpot) and Marketing Automation platforms (such as Marketo or Eloqua) is essential. You should have a proven track record of implementing AI-driven solutions within a marketing context. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into strategic business decisions are required. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are vital, as you will be the bridge between marketing, sales, and IT. Experience in an enterprise sales environment is highly preferred, as is a background in managing high-volume lead generation engines.
